Do you have a recepe? Never ever heard of Marshmallow Root.
Also do you have a way of handling dust mites?
Since getting a lung thing a few years ago I have asthma again. When I was in the Formentera (in the med next to Ibiza) I didn't use my inhaler once, despite doing excesse.
As soon as I walked through our front door at home my asthma kicked off again and now I'm back to using it daily as a preventative.

Regarding the dust mites, I changed our pillows to latex ones, I have hardwood floors and generally try to clean and dust regularly. Also along the herbal medicine route I’ve been making an effort to add some foods into my diet which are said to have natural antihistamine in them like nigella seeds and nettles.
I'm giving this thread a bump as I'm asthmatic and I try to manage my symptoms as best I can without too much medication (of course I do carry an inhaler just in case). I'm aware of what triggers my asthma and try to avoid them as much as possible, like dust mites, poor diet (like too much sugar and beer).
Lately I got interested in herbal medicines especially herbal teas and I feel like the blend I've been using has been keeping my symptoms away.
I've been blending different ingredients which have a history of being used traditionally and have scientific evidence, like Thyme, Peppermint, Marshmallow Root, Mullein and some others.
Has anyone else tried anything like this?
