Wouldn't it be nicer to train out, ~30 mile loop in the countryside then train back? The various acronym night rides (WNKR or whatever they are/were) are really good for this, they all have good train access and then ~30-35 mile routes drawn in nice lanes. Have followed a few and always thoroughly enjoyed, so props to whoever puts them together.
