  • We had this too. Bill loves a good poo on the bed. The only solution was to lock them out of the bedroom. It seemed to correlate with us scolding him for other things or us going away and leaving him with someone else, and wasn't related to the condition of the litter tray.

He seems to have grown out of it (6-9 months) but did again when we were on holiday so who knows. He doesn't do it when we're around.

Sorry to not be more help than to say lock the bedroom door.

  • Yep bedroom door closed at night and throughout the day now. Will see how it goes. I did add an extra litter tray next to the other and they seem to have gravitated to that now too. Its bigger and without a lid (although we left lids off theirs for a few weeks and peeing on bed was still a thing)

I'd almost be ok with the odd stealth poo, the peeing just goes right through everything. I've never washed so many duvets in my adult life than I have in the last 4 weeks.

Was reading that cats never pee where they eat as well. So I might try some dry treats on the bed once I know they had a piddle in the right place
