Wow I don’t know how you folks survive as a cyclist in Berlin. I rode into town for the north and from about 20kms out the traffic and infrastructure massively slowed me down. Compared to the week before in Copenhagen it was a bit change. Not a very bike friendly city but plenty of bikes around, keep going!

There are people commenting on this thread how great they found cycling here!
But getting in/out is a challenge unless you know what's good. There's some really funky stuff that basically needs tutorial videos.
Inner city has improved a bit in terms of infrastructure, but I think the main contribution towards safer/nicer cycling is safety through numbers

Much prefer cycling in Berlin.

Hiya. Will be in Berlin in February and wondered if there are sessions at the velodrome that cater for drop-ins? I had a look on the website but it seemed very concert focused! Thanks. J.

it is a bit complicated with the Velodrom, the local clubs get their own training slots and you as a single rider from somewhere else need some kind of race license to train there. do you know a local rider that could take you with him/her maybe?

Anyone got a tool to remove the cups of a semi-internal headset from a 44mm head tube I could borrow in exchange for beers/treats?
