Well, it has some pros and cons.

Pros: dark mode, better integration with the OS, notifications, infinite scrolling.

Cons: login experience is kinda shitty (SSO doesn't work, you have to login with your email), some missing functionality, infinite scrolling, etc.

I'm a big fan of cyclotron3k's work! I say give it a go, you can always go back to your browser.

I only bother going to the browser now to unignore something or post embedded photos from links. Maybe there's a way to do that in the app

Feels less buttery than it used to

I would love an option (like discord) to seperate replies from mentions/pings, since sometimes I want to reply to something historic and don't want to ping someone unnecessarily (yo dawg etc etc).

Hmm, I can't think of anything that would have caused this. I changed how attachments are laid out a bit, and updated a couple of dependencies, which shouldn't have had an impact.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has noticed jank?

I was still getting the jumping when scrolling through pictures but haven't tried since the latest update. I did once have it where I couldn't scroll up on a thread as it would just jump back down but it only happened the once and restarting the app seems to have fixed it

Ah yes, that was definitely a problem. I hopefully resolved that one a few releases ago 😬

Ooo one thing. Editing a post which I'm doing now. Can't always work out how to list the edited text (couldn't find it again so copied a nd pasted as new post)

Yep, I haven't changed anything in that regard. You'll see the bars more often when you're scrolling quickly

Interesting, so you click the three vertical dots, then the "edit" button, but the text doesn't appear in the editable text box?
