Lager, Cider and Blackcurrant

That's a snakebite.

Ignorant Aussie. Snakebite is half lager, half cider. Add blackcurrant and it's a snakebite and black. Add a shot of Pernod and it's a Purple Nasty. No one could drink more than three pints of that, and the vomit if you tried more was spectacular.

Ignorant, definitely. But also efficient. As I said somewhere else, no cunt I knew ever ordered a snakebite without the blackcurrant so they were always just "Snakies" and there was no question what you'd get.
