So after a first shakedown ride my first thoughts are-
Lovely riding frame, comfortable, capable up and down bumpy tracks, feels nice and light.
Not completely sold on the Stooge moto bars, might look for something with more rise and back sweep- velo orange Klunkers?
Gears need sorting- 7 speed shifter (friction)- 8 speed chain to used 9 speed cassette does not make for slick shifting and 30 to 11-34 is not a great range of gears either.
I discovered I needed a 2.5mm shim on the freehub so does that mean I can move up to a 10 or 11 speed rear cassette?
Tyres and wheels are plush and comfy so they can stay for now.
Overall very happy with it and looking toward a respray and slow upgrade. Seatpost feels OK but will probably go to inline when one turns up.
