  • Have a look at Wrist Envy
I got a cheap one to try and its pretty decent (22mm on an SKX)

Try ENVY20 for a 20% discount too, it was on a flyer with the strap but I haven't purchased another (yet)

  • Not wearing one at the moment but the Helson is on standby

  • Tremendous. Love that Seastar :)

@frankohara as others have said, strong recommend to contact them about the problem and send it back to them for fixing. I’d be worried that if you take action yourself, it gives them more deniability that they caused, or are responsible for, the problem.

  • This is really nice

  • Been a while.

  • Just had mine done locally £65 but properly pressure tested and certified

  • I just went with a random place for 10€ in the end. Couldn't find anywhere that would do pressure testing as well. Called a couple of places.

  • I probably didn't need the full works but I'm looking to sell or PX so thought I'd pay the extra for a card with all the boxes ticked

  • Happy Friday

  • Thoughts on the 1st gen Planet Ocean (42mm), I’ve always quite liked the look of them.

  • This is quite a good overview of the Planet Ocean line (by Thomas, who I’ve been working with on VPC) and I agree with his conclusion that the first generation was probably the best and it’s been gradually downhill since then.

  • Downhill since the first generation?
    I don’t think so ….

  • Really? This looks utter pish compared to the version posted above in my opinion.

  • Thanks, yes gen 1 is the only one that appeals to me aesthetically and size (being the slimmest). I had a ‘Peter Blake’ 2254 which was great the only thing that I didn’t like about it which ultimately led to me selling it was the size/font of the numbers on the bezel. Lume was awesome and I loved the sword hands - not a fan of the regular SMP skeleton hands.

  • That’s my own new “summer blue” planet ocean 39.
The current dials and bezels are leaps and bounds better than the originals.
Not to mention that master chronometer movement.
But I suppose from an aesthetic point of view we can’t all like the same thing.

  • Re: the POs. It’s like a five digit sub and a six digit sub. They’re the same, but different. The basic design is quite similar. Just depends what you’re into.

  • BB54 mod with pencil hands looks good - the guy also does big and small crown mods as well… interesting
