Of a stable of 8 bikes currently, the twenty is one of only two with gears, the other being my mtb. Everything else is singlespeed or fixed.

I was accused of stealing a bike once when we were living in Budapest. I mean technically I probably did. I was pissed at 2am and the bike was abandoned in the road… decided I’d take it home to go fast and pop it on Facebook the next morning as it looked stolen.

They beat me to the post but the main jist was they were scared I’d hurt myself or others as it was so hard to ride.

Amazes me people genuinely think any bike takes any skill to ride a flat fucking road.
