On smarter sun hats, I got my dad a proper trad Panama from John Lewis a few years ago. Excellent quality, can be rolled up, would thoroughly recommend.

I always think JL are excellent for these sorts of things.

I have one of these for canoeing in the river because they float + the sides can be buttoned up for paddling. Wanderer, I think? Not very fashion. But it works for me.

I hover between a L and XL in most brands - but mostly L. Medium EG on me is still oversized lol

I have a T3 from them, solid.
Make sure you get the all cotton ones that are still made in Canada.

Real M65s are boxy as hell.

I could probably have put a bit more thought in to which socks I wore to first aid training today. All fun and games until the photos of amputated and degloved appendages starting popping up.

Just ordered one after longing for a bucket hat for ages, 50% off at globetrotter.de made the high quality made in a high wage country price quite good.
And only dark navy in sale, which made that part easy.

That EG jacket is easily my most worn item - super versatile. No idea why they stopped making them and annoyed I didn’t get it in Blue/black.

Heading home from a few days working in the states and honestly everyone here just seems to wear:
Sports polo
Three quarter zip (various materials)
Lululemon abc pants
On centre courts

I get that it’s hot but just seems so un-imaginative.

They still making them but just different fabrics. Made a killer paisley one for SS24 but too bold for me.

Think that's just beige major metros to be honest. Not like that out here in SoCal at all.
