ublockorigin works in Chrome. Youtube is trickier because the ads are served from the same domains as the videos but there were options like Vanced and stuff. Not sure how effective they are.

Is there a good blocker for Chrome/YouTube on iPhone? Whenever I try to find one it’s all for laptops and/or other browsers. I don’t want to fiddle about, I just want to pay £0-£2 pcm to have no ads and cookie popups
