Same here. A combination of the "you have 20 notification" emails and nitter.net disappearing up its arse (I know there are other mirrors but none have lodged in my brain) and all I found is a bunch of random <7digits> following me and liking a random tweet of mine from 4 years ago.

I change x.com to twiiit.com in the url after it was suggested here in this thread I think.

Didn’t know it could get even shitter but it has, just use it as a news/opinion source and often switch to ‘for you’ to get the same topics but different sources of decent content/opinions but now it’s just a stream of ‘this is amazing’ ‘watch to the end not what you expect’ ‘lads being lads’ ‘amazing story!’ ‘Weird and wonderful’ etc, etc.

I can't use the For You page at work anymore on my work based twatter account. The content is just too not safe.

I've muted and blocked all the nastiness, so all I get is nice things like cats and anti-Trumpists and people setting themselves on fire by mistake.

I just get large ads for games now, three or four in a row and when I click I don't like this ad it just ignores me
