I got a bunch of snail and slug munching ground beetles. I believe they need rotting wood so a stick or untreated log pile somewhere can help?
A mesh area filled with leaves might also help to get beetles i think?
if you check online on the RHS site they have some tips.
Blackbirds definitely like a good slug seen our male wiping one clean of slime and then eat it.
I swear my slugs have little parachutes lol 😂
I can forget about sunflowers but dahlia grown out and then planted make it ok. -

If you're OK to wait a bit, then you're better off doing it in the next month or two. Order turf and a sprinkler and watch some videos.
You have next to no chance of reseeding it based on your household and the time of year.

But also yeah you will have to dig the old ones out. You will probably miss lots of little bulbils and have to do it a few more times

If it's clay soil maybe add organic matter before you try to put grass down again.
If you are starting over prep's well worth it.I recently got a dog so yellow piss patches are now a feature on mine, which I just try to keep moss and weed free now.

Has anyone cut back fuscias this time of year?
One of mine is supper leggy, gets in the way and is all round shit this year. Considering clipping some of it back to lower green shoots even though the flowers are on it.

Sedum mats are awesome.. I’m still contemplating doing the whole shed roof circa 16 sq m..
getting even 1 sq m home SE6 > E6 will be a challenge
great shout though on this thread.
Hopefully someone local will pick up.. -

Lawn care is probably my least fave garden activity, but new shoots coming though is always immensely satisfying.
