I have 2 of these on a recent build and they’re close enough to the King Ti cages but much less dinero

Those wheels are perfect with that paint

I really like these from Condor.

Those rims are super on that build…what are they?

The Blackburn stainless cages are all you need, really can’t see the point of tit anusium.

Elite Moreo, without the plastic piece, are rather nice.

Ah weird, it doens't for me. Great cages, I've run them on gravel/off-road and road and they've always performed very well, though saying that one did break 230 km in to a 250km off-road ride, but at that point everything felt broken in my body so a cracked cage was the least of my problems

That saddle-seatpost-black seat cluster is an incredibly beautiful thing.

can't go wrong with Arundel steel cages IMO
This is the correct answer

Any idea what ferrule I need for here please? This is blatantly not correct yet actually seems to shift okay.
I have the stepped ferrules for the diving helmet type cable guides and they’re not working for me.

I have seen a few varieties of stepped ferule so it might just be a case of trying different ones until you get one that holds the cable in place and gives you a nice line.

Nust a regular gear cable bit, the one in the photo seems a bit wide maybe from a brake cable?

Something like this. Just measure the diameters first.

Pretty sure I have some of the 3.7mm JTEK ones in my parts box if you don't want to spring for a pack.

£9k and a dubious stem handlebar set up.
£9k! -

I believe he said he bought the alu bike with scratchy da 7500 for 1k. He wasn't on a bargain hunt.

I was pretty gobsmacked by the price. Obvs it's free, RRP, and very top spec from Shimano for the plug*.
But the main thing is I just didn't realise how expensive modern top tier groupsets are! Firmly out of achievable and into the lotto territory.
*I assume that's why he used that horrendous bar-stem...baem? Otherwise you'd just use a regular looking pro vibe combo.

On the fence about the fork. Initially I thought it should have been replaced with a carbon one.
Now I'm not sure.

Alu bike, 9250 groupset, DA wheels and PRO bar should not be 9000 pounds.

Is no one going to get blubbery about him drilling the frame like it ain't no thang?
I mentioned doing it once in passing and out came the torches....
-
• #5499
True.
Although in fairness one key difference highlighted by someone who thought before they reacted was you were using campag
The problem you will have in drilling a hole, is the it needs to be from the diameter of the connector, not of the cable

Yeah, true dat.
Stupid (beautiful) Campag
Cheers. I think it's my favourite bike. Not just because it looks great, the handling is nuts. Super short wheelbase makes it so snappy!
