My wife struggles carrying her Brompton so wants to improve its rollability. What's the best solution, get the rear rack with wheels? Is there anything cheaper than the official Brompton one people would recommend?
Edit - looks like I should have read a few posts previously.

Get the rack from alibaba, it’s not design for supporting much in terms of carrying stuff on the back, but as long as you get larger wheels ok this small rack you’ll be fine. Definitely a game changer.

I bought this

and these

Unscrewed the 2 speed chain shifter from my bike whilst doing a deep clean. Does the bolt need thread lock? As if it’s snugged up the shifter doesn’t move, but if it’s loose I can just see the bolt coming undone over time
Disregard: the washer goes between the shifter and the winged part above, not between the bolt head and the shifter. No issues now :)

This afternoon I fitted a pair of lightly used Racers to my S2 after years of running Marathon Plus without a single puncture. I just wanted to see what difference they made. Well it’s huge, because 3 miles from London Bridge I got a fucking front puncture.
The Pluses are going back on tomorrow.

Paul to make Brompton brakes: https://www.instagram.com/p/C-6LV3aSNid/?igsh=ODBsaWZpcGt1ajR5
Niche folding bike specific parts is my weak spot.

Yeah, Bromptons are weird, but we’re weird, and you’re weird, and sometimes it takes a bunch of bike-nerd weirdos to machine brakes this good, and that’s what we did!

The indicator chain on my 6 speed keeps loosening. I adjust it and tighten down the lock ring then it goes again. Any suggestions, its very annoying?

Threadlocker. Loctite 243 or equivalent.

Still with the funny 2 tools spring adjustment, works but fiddly to set up. Would have thought they would ditch that by now.
Could have enclosed the spring and use an adjuster bolt to balance the arms but hey, what do I know!

Might be something on it acting as a lube not lock? I've never needed threadlocker, but have had some indicators that have loosened due to the wrong substances getting there. Quick proper, clean sorted it right out.

Coaster brake on a SS Brompton? The chain tensioner only takes up the slack for the fold so should be doable? Maybe?

Looks amazing, I have to buy a set :p

Its new out the box, been doing from day 1. Sturmey 3 po seems such a tried and tested system its odd. After a short ride I can no linger shift to easier gears. Have to adjust. I'll try giving it a clean and see.

I’ve done a sram automatix with a coaster brake. Worked ok. Ben at kinetics has done an S2C and reinforced the chain tensioner. I wonder if an aftermarket alloy one would be stiffer than the plastic one so may help?

Thanks, good to know it’s a possibility.
Easiest with a shop air compressor. Lacking that, dish soap plus a thin shim and some patience will get them off. You’ll need to clean the dish soap off separately. If you cba, isopropanol or hairspray work too, but they evaporate v quickly.
