The indicator chain on my 6 speed keeps loosening. I adjust it and tighten down the lock ring then it goes again. Any suggestions, its very annoying?

Might be something on it acting as a lube not lock? I've never needed threadlocker, but have had some indicators that have loosened due to the wrong substances getting there. Quick proper, clean sorted it right out.

Its new out the box, been doing from day 1. Sturmey 3 po seems such a tried and tested system its odd. After a short ride I can no linger shift to easier gears. Have to adjust. I'll try giving it a clean and see.
