Cheers for the pointer sacredhart!
I’m leaning towards buying one now as it’s getting to crunch time to buy in time for my trip. I try to avoid buying things unless I know I’ll use them enough to justify buying, mostly for environmental reasons. Looks like I might need to buy in this instance, so hopefully will end up putting it to good use.
In case anyone sees and is interested, I noticed that Rab and Decathlon rent camping gear (but not bivvys). Prices don’t see too bad either.
Anyone got a bivvy I could rent / borrow for a couple weeks? I’m heading up to the Lakes on Sunday (25th), will be a way for a couple weeks but likely to only use it once or twice to stargaze with my girlfriend. Don’t think it’s something I’d use regularly hence not wanting to buy one at the moment.
I’m 5’ 7” / 1.7m and could collect from central or somewhere east during the week or on Sat.
Cheers,
Phil
