Friend of mine was on a flight back from a business trip, and at the start of the flight they advised that in flight snacks including nuts would not be served due to a passenger with a severe airborne nut allergy.

Her business trip had involved the inspection of a factory processing nuts and chocolate that morning. Rather stressful flight back for her.
