Ahh a man who knows his wood. Let me see if there is any details, would i find this on the underside, what am i looking for?

maybe there was a makers sticker or printed name but they fall off or fade,not an expert just walked around enough mid century shows and antique warehouses.

if you google quarter sawn oak grain you will see the similarities with your piece and the wavy cross grained pattern.
