I just never give this one enough credit.
Would love bull bars on it tho. It has ideal bezel cutouts.

That would've been good seeing you guys but got prior engagement
Sunbathing? 😂 Lol

What model number please? It's a proper stunner. Can you get it with a weekday wheel in other languages?
-
• #78706
The last good example sale for one was at auction for $14,500. Having a GS VFA without using a Kanji date wheel is like ordering a steak well done. It's just not right.

If anyone wants a new unworn Starbucks full set obviously. I'll have one for a short while next week 12k ?

Happy Friday. The barman who served me had a ice blue dial Tissot Seastar on. Looks way better in the flesh than on their website.

I'll add it to the Euromillions shopping list. And I promise to keep it Kanji.

CBA with another half a dozen blurry images of my wristwatch sitting on my phone to never be posted - so in words, I'm happily wearing the smiths Everest, am slightly tanned & sitting in the usual look at lufguss chair - will try harder next week

Tissot Seastar
Just looking at this used one, from another UK forum.
2 1/2 years old, hardly worn, received as a gift Christmas 2021.
Chap is asking 50% of the new price, including genuine Tissot stainless strap and blue rubber strap.
Looks in the condition as he described in the 10 photos he sent to me.
Only thing that bugs me is the case back opening tool indents are not lining up squarely with the crown.
I compared this with an image on the Tissot website, and the picture of the back shows all lined up 'squarely'.He said that the back has never been opened.
Is it me or is the image on the website a photoshopped image, and that is throwing my mind into something that I should not be concerned about?

I would say so.
It is a pressure screw in case back on most traditional watches.
So those cut outs are for a tool to unscrew the back.
Therefore it is not designed to 'line up'.

+1 website images are often composites which is why they all look uncanny valley
-

Yeah they almost never line up.
I once had a guy asking for a refund ‘cos his divers watch was “faulty” as the logo on the screw down was upside down after he screwed it down. -

Anyone fancy the EFA-134?
Only one on ebay is £100 + post.
Works fine, no box or paperwork. Some signs of wear. Battery sits at ‘HI’ happily, I leave it on a sunny window sill.
£70 posted?

Almost no casebacks or screw-down crowns will align when fully screwed in. The exception is Omega’s “Naiad lock” tech that they developed specifically to do that.

Such a nice model this

So, I get this advert and feel so sad, because that’s my first G-Shock. After years of wrist-time as a child it stopped working, and got lost or something.
Still haven’t replaced it, and wear the different model that replaced it instead sometimes.
