Yeah. This.
As I hadn't quite worked out what to do with the front I let it run a bit unchecked when we first redid it. Then this year I've been battling it. In spring there were loads that had actually taken root inside the iris tubers, and one of the normally fantastic fushas is in a sorry straggley state having been engulfed by them... and also tbh because it's furtherest from the front door I've been slack weeding there.
Trying to be diligent about deadheading before they seed.
I quite like them, but not in the volume I currently have them. So if I can be militant and get rid of 80-90% I feel it'll be a bit more maintainable.
