~~Had this for a while and ridden it but currently next to unused between the hardtail and the track bike so time to move this bike on. The frames alloy, the forks steel alloy too ('Kona Project Two Aluminum Disc'). It's a really comfy bike that would be great for touring routes like the caledonian way which have their share of rocky roads and lumpy forestry paths. Got all the braze ons for front and rear racks.
It's specced with a 8s claris groupo but an FSA omega tempo chainset (50/34). Cassettes 11-34.Plenty of life left in the chain and the rings look good to me. I replaced the cartridge bb when I got it and it's in good as new condition imo.
The brakes are hays cx mechanical discs which do the job. My aspiration was to upgrade it to hyrds in time which I never got round to doing. A fair bit of life left in the pads.
I've upgraded the wheels from the stock pair, so these are shimano hb-m535a hubs (quick release) laced on to dt Swiss m442 rims, set up tubelessly with muc off sealant if I remember rightly. The bearings were serviced by two wheels good in stoke newington church St less than 100 km ago. The tyres are 700c 38mm vittoria terreno dries and are as good as new.
A couple scuffs on the paintwork and cranks, hope the photos show you what you need to know. What scuffing there is is from cables, so some alcohol plus nail polish and some heli tape would get it looking good as new. Saddle is weirdly droopy at the nose but seems to do no harm. Skewers are a bit ratty looking but they work fine.
Comes with some wide mudguards (English fit) which leave ample room for the current tyres which I've left unfitted but as I say are priced as a freebie.
Hopefully £295 seems reasonable, I am based in n22 for collection but may also be able to drop it off depending on where you're based. I work around Waterloo/ burgess park.
I can also post but expect that will come to about £80 by parcel force including packaging.
Comes with these nukeproof flat pedals which seem decent to me.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:
```
Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
