That's exactly what happened in Amsterdam. I refused the one at City airport because I wanted to drink three pints first

Yup, take him to the assistance desk and they'll take care of him. He'll get a wheelchair and a support worker, priority treatment, jumping all the queues and be first on the plane. But last off!
You can get back to your car, won't take long at all.
