  • slightly off topic but i reckon those in here are the most likely to have an answer: is there a a sample pad or similar that can send sound via bluetooth? Ideally not expensive as this is sort of for an elaborate practical joke

  • If not, then you could get a Bluetooth transmitter? I’ve just bought a senheisser BT100 unit for a local community group that takes 3.5mm Jack in and then connects to up to two Bluetooth devices. Seems to do the job perfectly well for the last couple of weeks we’ve used it!

    Else, how about an iPhone app (depending on what’s needed). Novation Launchpad has an app that’s essentially a small set of sample pads. Don’t know if you can upload your own samples but I’ve had fun playing around with it before.

  • hmm transmitter is a good shout, not sure how i forgot about those since i use one to listen to music from my phone (fuck you apple removing the jack socket)

    end goal is to make something tactile that can be wall mounted, to get someone off having 20 browser tabs open with youtube sound clips
