Is Flight Attendant an add-on or do you need a specific fork with it in place already?
No, I'm definitely not thinking about putting it on the Stanton, nope, nosiree, definitely not... well, maybe...

Flight Attendant only works as a system, so you need the powermeter crank to send data to the fork. I think in theory you can buy the FA cartridge and put it in a regular SID though.

Sounds like a plan since I already have "MTB powermeter, AXS" on my todo list. :D

Looks like I'm just going to have to glue a vape to my fork to piss this thread off.

Don't worry, your sus fork will automatically feel firmer as you neglect to service it

Anyone from up north able to recommend something like a Dirty Reiver Lite? Say 40ish miles as an upper limit. Going down to the boarders on Sunday to pick something up, might as well keep going towards Northumberland and go ride.

Is there a helpline I can call?

Maybe this place can help?

Whats the plan for the second one? One for road one for gravel?!
-
• #31613
I’d like to suggest it’ll make slightly more sense in time but I’m not convinced…

Essentially yes. The cream one is going to go 2x, I think with a light gravel tyre it’d be just as quick as my road bike and can handle deviations when tile hunting and be my “best” bike.
The bronze is replacing my Inflite, so I’ll race it for cross, bike pack, gravel etc. got the invisi kit is ready to go.
I could obviously have one but two means one should always be running and they’ll share spares. Quite boring really 😂
Ideally I’d have got the Coral 10R but this came up.
The jet lagged progress I made today;

The colour coordinated bushes are a step too far, I agree.

Another L2B off-road yesterday (that's about my 8th trip this year) and I was shown yet another route for the northern half.
Conditions were perfect and after haddock and chips at the Regency my riding buddies caught the train of shame and I solo'd back to Horsham to make it 150k for the day.
Here's Steve just north of Steyning and the three of us at Shoreham harbour.

Got a favourite out of the routes? Did the one posted here late winter via Surry Hills on the weekend and it was savage. Second attempt after a washed out go in March

What's the box under the rear light - a Shite Attendant?

How do you find the astroturf.

Pretty good it’s 8 years old. Our garden is small 8mx8m ish. I lay it myself using only one width and kinda designed the garden accordingly. It drains well so kids can go out on it most of the time, handy as my youngest has asd so is always wanting to be outside doing stuff. Lawn isn’t really viable given aspect and surrounding buildings. So was this or patio. I don’t know enough to judge environmental impact of the two against each other.

• #31623
I guess given you've kept the astro for 8 years the environment impact will be better than your bikes.

Ooft not sure how to take that lol

I've no idea, I didn't ask him but it has GARMIN printed on it. It didn't seem to do anything the whole seven hours.
Nice collection. CX pit pike ?
