Thought about heading over there yesterday but it’s an hour and a half from where I’m staying, it was only about an hour and three quarters to get here from Glasgow!

I was up that way for a family holiday a few weeks ago. Didn't have a bike with me but we hired some for an afternoon. I'd love to get back up with my own bike and a bit more time. Looks like there's a lot to explore.

Can confirm there is grav in the Lake District. Can also confirm the hills here are not to be underestimated.
