  • Currently riding Pirelli Cinturato Velo 26mm tyres tubeless on my road bike. They're nearing the end of their lives, but have served me well in terms of grip, durability and puncture resistance. At £50 per tyre they seem about on par in terms of replacement value with other tyres out there.

Main downside to them is a penalty on rolling resistance and weight. I value certainty over speed so am inclined to stick with the Pirellis rather than go for something quicker like a GP5000, but any others that might be thrown in the mix at this stage?

  • I don’t think you can go wrong with GP5000 STR - feel super fast but also very very good puncture resistance in my experience
