BLB hubs are m8.
Which just makes me even more confused about this Argon Bolt-On 9 x 100mm M6 kit.
M6 isn’t going to be big enough to be acting as the axle is it?
I could invoke @gbj_tester here as I’m sure you’ll know if an m6 is up to this?
Hopefully the rider has the frame or gets it soon and I can get an actual look it.

Further baffled having looked at the Phil hubs and seeing they use m8 not m6 bolts.

Might be worth contacting Tony Brooks at Brooks Cycles...

Well that confuses things… yeah I’d chat to Brookes Cycles or Velobike and get their expertise.
I’m sure it’s intuitive when it’s infront of you but hard to imagine how it all works on paper. -

I'm with samrensho, look at the problem with the fork, M6 kit and measuring tools in front of you. It might need as little as a file and a hand tap to get a basic Shimano hub in there, in which case WH-RS100-CL-F would save you the trouble of building a wheel. After spending £60 on the wheel, you should have some budget left to make new lock nuts, which is probably the most amount of customisation it will need.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good documentary on track cycling - the history, the different events etc., which could give a similar broad view and explanation of velodrome riding to the Netflix TdF series?
One programme or a series, not too concerned about age/being bang up to date etc.
Thank you!

Rob Hayles' Velodrome: Stories from the track is as good a place as any to start if you can find it. It was on the old GCN platform

Cheers, I'll see if I can hunt it down!
Think they have the hub/axle sitting in the dropout and the bolts are acting like a skewer rather than the bolts taking all the load.
BLB hub might be an option…?
