• imagine a 60 year old woman who's never heard hip hop before, deciding she should represent her country at break dancing, whilst also having never break danced before .... i think

    her impression of a kangaroo break dancing also lost her a few style points from her final score.

    not that i have seen her performance but i feel qualified to comment on her performance from all the things i have read on t'internet about it

    I think it's more like the Eddie the Eagle story.

  • An American guy went down a rabbit hole to work out how she got there, who she beat what were the qualifying competitions etc. and watched videos of who she beat.

    His conclusion was that Aussie womens breaking was just in a really weird place where the male + female breakers worldwide all conformed to the same styles, Aussie women had come up with their own local (and very bad) style for some reason. And she was the best at it. Also she has a Phd in Breakdancing.
