Some splashing but I found other sinks meant water on the floor, it’s not been enough of an issue to consider changing it.
I would have maybe had a wider lozenge shape but it wasn’t my decision.
No issues with face washing as it’s a decent size even with the long spout which gets over the plug, not felt the need to change to the shorter one.
Sink was a bargain from B&Q which saved hundreds over the Vitra and Rak ones that were the same colour.

Thanks. That begs a question seeing your sink, do you get water splashing around it on the vanity surface. My wife wants a sink like that but I'm convinced it'll be a mess.
What's the sink? Something off white would be nice.
And we went for the Crosswater in the end cheers for that suggestion.
