FS: 56cm classic holdsworth path/pista single speed

  • 56cm square holdsworth from well before the planet x brand buyout. Someone convinced me it was 531 when I bought the frame off here years ago but there are no stickers to confirm.

    Sugino messenger crankset
Beater saddle, bars, bar tape, stem and wheels
    105 road levers
    Conti gatorskin tyres in 32c
Tektro R559 long drop caliper brakes

Bike is currently in Brighton but I am regularly in SW4 and travel through Victoria and Euston.

  • What price are you after?

  • Oops knew I'd forgotten something - £160

  • Looking good for more than half a century old, nice price too :)

  • Those lugs. Gonna be 531 at least. GLWS. Smooth ride I'm sure

  • Lots of Holdsworth frame number dating info and catalogue pics on the web. Factory built frame (tell by the pop rivets) so not too special. Not cast lugs, so that adds to the interest. 531 was the top tubing at that time, for UK builders at least.

  • Frame number is 4277, my brief look into this suggested it was a frame from the 40s which I didn't quite believe

  • Hi Geoff,
If this is still for sale I'm local to Euston and keen!
    Sincerely,
    Johnny

  • Yep! Will send you a PM

  • Possibly 531 plain guage tubing rather than double butted....still a good frame.

  • Sold!
