  • Luckily we don't need to roll them on our commute, but I'll see what the shop says at its service in 10 days.........

  • What do forum members recommend for rear rack roller wheel upgrades? Eazy Wheels?

  • Yeah, happened to me. Was warrantied without fuss and I collected a new battery from the Junction Store a few days later. It's a terrible design as you can't change the handle without exposing the cells, which voids the OEM's warranty 🤦‍♂️.

  • Does anyone have bad experience with rollerblade wheels?
Theres a decathlon nearby and I could get some ball-bearing wheels there for about 10 Euros, without postage and online ordering ... :)

  • These are okay. I've had one come off mid-ride and was forever lost. The new set unwound on me a couple of times too. Some thread lock should sort that though. Personally, I would for for something more robust next time.

  • My neighbour’s T line has landed, so I’m going round to test ride his old 6 speed tomorrow. This time tomorrow we could be a two Brom household. Suddenly our city breaks could involve a whole load more bike :D

  • Bit of a pimping update
    .
    Reflectors removed
    .
    Easy wheels upgrade

  • We are now a 2 Brompton household. Liz has a Red 3 speed all of her own, the 6 speed had already gone. It’s an earlyish one without the hinge lock. But it’s in really good condition. It came with 2 front bags, a new Dynamo and a spare rim. She’s well happy!

  • @hoke how do you find the tbag interferes with steering? I'm tempted to cut the handle off of the bag frame on mine and use a paracord replacement as even with the brake levers vertical I have quite limited steering

  • Is there such a thing as an extended bag block to move the bag away from the head tube a little more? Maybe I need longer cables.

  • Does anybody have a bag frame/support they want to be rid of? I didn’t realise the bags I got didn’t have them. D’ho!

  • You seem to have more clearance than me? Maybe different bag/ frame years had different designs.

  • I cut the plastic handle off and replaced with a paracord one. I'll make a nicer one when I have more time. No more steering issues :-)

  • Plus more aero now too.

  • Hello, I haven't been here for a while since going head first through a psychopaths van window.

Better now and back on 2 wheels.

My Brommie got an interesting reception at the Brompton shop today. I guess you don't get many of these to the pound nowadays.

I bought it new 6 years ago and I might get some new superlight pedals for it.

  • very nice

  • Thanks, I've been thinking about getting a T line single speed for the shitz and giggles too.

  • Seth likes his new bike…

  • Shit all of these outside of Asia… last non superlight I sold went for ÂŁ3,000 in about 12 seconds…

  • What's the options for replacing a worn out bottom bracket for a pre-2013 non-spider crankset?

Is the only way new cranks and new bottom bracket?

  • That explains the reaction it got then.

  • Any JIS square taper 119m BB should work, iirc.
