You won’t get enough clearance for mudguards with spokes in the forks. Just go down to 35c imo and save the 40 for rhe rear
Yeah I don't think it will leave enough for guards but it should make it easier to have 35s with guards in the future.
Will update the forum on how this goes in due time. I may just do it by hand with a metal file if I can't find a grinder.
That tiny little notch is better to do by hand anyways. With an angle grinder it's too uncontrolled. Note; I think it's a stupid idea to do this and mess with your own safety.
