Have we done Pauline FP leaving ineos to join jumbo or whatever they are now to race road ie we had the former road world champ for 2 years, couldn’t find her any female team mates and couldn’t make a women’s team, whilst pissing millions on an average men’s team and creating a development team?

Romandie was worth every last penny.

Her partner, Dylan van Baarle, is at Visma so maybe that played its part.
It's only a week till the Vuelta. I'm sure the Tour only finished last week.

I think Ineos’ plan had been to create an off road team but in the end it was just are pidders and PFP. As long as her ambitions were on dirt she was going to stay. Team no surprise given personal relationships and SD already saying they’d blown their budget.

Fantastic that Chiara Consonni got the gold in the Madison. She's been plugging away for 2 or 3 years in the women's tour, getting a few second places in sprints but only one win I think. Probably the sunniest, most endearing character in all sport, ever. I doubt we'll get an interview in English, so here's one from 4 years ago. I just realised that Deutschland Tour goes through MissNumbers’ hometown while we’re there visiting family.

In fact, most of it is in Ba-Wu from what I can see.

Pondering going to see the Tour Femmes on Thursday. Public holiday so trying to work out the best place to watch it

Went to see the first etape of the Tour de France Femme this afternoon. Cycled from Scheveningen to Monster to see them blast past and then I hurried to Kijkduin for the finish. Was nice to see there were a lot of people lined up along the route.
