  • Real good - had me over to eBay looking at Caad12s! Prefer it to the SL6 tbh :)

  • Thanks for the positive feedback everyone!

The last 2.5h out of the 350km were pouring rain in the dark including descents and bad condition tarmac.

I had not the slightest issues or worries to be honest. Of course you need one wheel turn to get the water off, but thats half a second delay maybe, plus you can bypass this by letting the brakepads rub during descents

Its hollowgrams plus black swiss stop

On the SL6 I had roval CL 50 with yellow swiss stop and that worked not as good

To date, riding in the rain is not a mandatory argument for buying disc. Ive been riding in wet conditions for the last half decade.

Might be different if you ride cols 24/7 but i dont do this :-)

  • Grabbed my first SILK ROAD yesterday

Thankfully, the seller only posted NDS-photos in the ad, so no one noticed the team rider name on the drive side.

Overall its a nice 9.5/10 condition

Never heard of the wheels though „A class ALX 320“

  • raketa crank for the win

  • To be frank thats exactly my thought

Second choice would be aldhu carbon

Budget wise I had to opt for omnium even if I would have preferred an aero spider on this thing

  • I love that extra bit of aluminium welded behind the headtube, such a strong look

  • Yep this frame set is sporting some nice little details despite its simplicity at first glance
