Is it just my imagination, or are there almost no rim brake wheelsets out there with campag freehubs? Carbon or otherwise? (apart from a fair few sets of Boras for silly money)
I know people say that for 11 speed, shimano cassettes work with campag shifters/mechs, but it just makes me nervous.

Pretty much does work but campagnolo ratios so much better than Shimano. Sram 11 28 is OK. Centaur 12 32 excellent.

Agreed, been looking on EBay for over a year and Campagnolo hub Wheelsets very much in the minority but there are a few Shamals on now - great bang for buck. Or Zonda if on a budget

You have DM.

Go for a shimano wheelset with hope hubs and swap the freehub for campag.

I have personally used Shimano cassettes with my Campagnolo groupset with no problems.

They work without issue. I have run this set up (or vice versa) on three different bikes, the differences in spacing are so minute to be negligible. Plus shimano 11 speed cassettes are cheaper & all manner of ratios available.

If you find a set of Shimano Hunt's I have Campag freehub thats compatible with most of their range

Shimano and Campagnolo 11 speed spacing is identical. I have ridden many many km without issues. Even when buying new wheels I would go for Shimano freehub as their cassettes were so much cheaper than Campagnolo.
Max budget about £350, so not going to get anything very flash, but in case anyone has an old pair kicking about?
Thanks
Dan
