  • Felt/USA tried it for 2016, the idea is that it’s travelling slower on the inside of the track and as drag increases with speed there’s a marginal gain from it, it makes sense logically, but I’m not sure why it didn’t take on, suspect it’s in part because all drivetrain parts then become proprietary and it’s expensive to develop the best wheel/bb/chainset/cog etc… possibly also because the drivetrain is so noisy because of feet the benefit isn’t big enough…
