  • I think you are still obliged to report it to the insurance company, who may or may not stiff you next time . When my third party only kwaker was stolen i kept my no claims but was refused insurance when i went to buy a 250 yam scooter that was top of the most stolen list.

  • Pretty much this. You may as well claim because they are going to hike your premiums next time regardless.

    Similar to my rear-ender last year. Even though I used MCAMS/Bond Turner to get my payout (not my insurer), the insurance I get now is more than double regardless of not being at fault.

  • No, as it have you made any claims. This isn't a claim. Your insurance question is have you had any claims or losses..in the last 3 years. Ask for clarity and get it in writing.

  • You can get refused insurance for lots of things, I got a lot of issues with insurance being removed as I couldn't produce a valid CBT on the insurance on 400cc bike.
