  • If you can't get saniderm its one or the other in my opinion. Either tattoo or swim. I know it doesn't sound like that's an option, but just saying. Your genuinely putting yourself at risk of infection if you can't keep it 100% water tight.

    You also don't just take saniderm off. So you wouldn't put it on just to swim, then take it off. You risk pulling skin off with it. You are supposed to leave it on until it naturally starts to peel and then either pull it off while rinsing it with warm water or just letting it peel off by itself in its entirety.

  • I've used it before and yeah it's a pain to take off. In this circumstance I will indeed be putting it on and then taking it right off, not ideal but the timing is terrible. I'm fairly certain I'll be able to get it watertight cause it's not gonna be a big tattoo and it will be on a pretty flat area near my chest.

    Edit. It's a warm lake. I probably won't swim and just enjoy some kayaking. Different when it's the cold Atlantic.
