I wouldn't be too concerned about the camshaft error. The DENSO Ecu is top piece of kit for OEM. I ran my Impreza with the DENSO ecu re mapped to run 400plus BHP along with water meth injection.
It does however fall over at times and at high revs throws camshaft and timing cels.
The belt would be my priority, I went cosworth because it was blue lol. If you are running higher boost then the plugs need to match.
I wish I had my Subaru back......
