Same scenario here. I went for the Sage Precision Brewer and it's been great. You might want to look into the scuzzy carafe lid issue (sealed unit that can retain water and get gross) but it's not been an issue for me yet. If you don't want to live with that kind of uncertainty, Moccamaster with the thermal jug is the other popular option.

Can you not just use Cafiza or similar to clean the carafe?

Yeah you have to drill 2 holes in the lid. I realised it was a problem because after dishwashering the carafe and lid, I could hear water sloshing around in the lid. The handle of the carafe has a drain hole but the lid doesn't.
If you search back in the thread, I've taken a pic of what you need to do. It's a problem that Sage haven't considered and will just tell you to buy a new carafe, which is incredibly wasteful, but it's solved really easily.

I have a v60 but at times wish to make more drip coffee. Is the sage precision with the metal flask the go to option these days? Just want something fuss free and reliable for occasional batch brews
