I'd say aeropress is the best bet. Hoffman did a review on the devices you can attach to them which supposedly create more espresso like brews (think one was a Fellow brand thing). the outcome was you cant create an espresso but get close enough and for your use case that would seem to be close enough

Yeah I have an aeropress that I really like, but it's been well used and now only makes a good seal if it's just come out of the dishwasher. I might just replace it but I need to have a look around first and see what's on offer! We had a mokka pot but it went when we moved house. We have a pour over/v50 and a plug in percolator for other use cases as well

Espresso options for a tiny kitchen - aeropress, mokka pot, anything else? Needs to be put awayable.
