Got some aviators off Amazon for £11 last year. Hopefully not off gassing something ophtalmotoxic, but they seem to block out UV and they fit all right.

I have a few pairs of decathlon sunglasses that are fine for the price.

Kem are very good. Pricey mind you. And not particularly attractive. Bicycle are good and have better options.

No bring back rep demands for this? This place has changed.

Bicycle, for name, designs and how they feel.

Disappointing, mate.

I was more wondering whether people had specific (but cheap) sunglasses they recommended for driving. My Oakleys that got nicked from the glove compartment seemed much clearer for driving than the couple of pairs of fashion ones I've tried since.

Anyone ever had their car reg plates cloned? Someone is driving up roads they shouldn’t be, and I’m getting fines. I’ve reported to police and disputed the fines awaiting crime ref no, but council now saying I need to supply photos of my car, which looks identical.
Please PM with advice. -

I assume you have contacted DVLA?

They'll have someone enhancing your photos.

I had this a few years ago on a company van, luckily it was sat in a key card carpark with cctv and number plate ID a couple of times I was meant to be driving up a bus lane.
Worth looking for doorbell cam or whatever footage to place you else where. It’s one of the times you have to prove you didn’t do it. Fuckers. -
• #123166
You know what, I did try but couldn’t actually find how to get through to any useful department – I’ll try again.
-
• #123167
Yeah we had it with a work van that luckily looked a bit different.
I asked my street for any doorbell cam alibis but no luck. -

I thought, the last number plare cloning was rife was to attach a suitably distinctive sticker in an obvious place.
Oval 'GB' stickers were a good starter. -

I just tried to dye a pair of green cotton trousers black. I've managed to make them marginally darker green using Dylon in the washing machine. Any tips for a better result?
-
• #123171
I'd use a fibre reactive dye on cotton, as you would for tie dye, you'll want some soda ash to soak them in first.
-
• #123172
Dump the Dylon, it’s useless, look for Procion MX dyes.
-
• #123173
I've had success with black dylon on a pair of grey Levis, I just doubled the suggested quantities of dye 🙂

Thanks everyone. I've ordered some procion MX and soda ash from this reassuringly shit looking website.

I read quite a lot of that website when I got into tie dye for a couple of months.
Any suggestions for cheapo sunglasses to be used for driving?
They will be used in the car 99.9% of the time and will likely get nicked at some point so I'm not overly fussed about looks compared to price and optics.
