Wanted: trashable commuter - ideally SS/FG, 56-59cm

Going back to a regular commute in a few weeks, and I’m acutely aware that if I use either of my current bikes for the 20km ride each way I’ll be churning through pricey consumables once the worst of the Welsh winter hits. So I’m after a basic flat bar commuter than can ideally be set up single speed- think Inbred or Pompino or retro MTB with the right sort of dropouts. Mudguard mounts are a must, not fussed on wheel size or tyre clearance or even whether a full build really. TIA.
