• Ritchey Breakaway Road bike - small size
Quite a few paint chips, which have been touched in, structurally sound.

Awesome bike, splits in half for travel / storage.

Cable splitters and frame splitters all accounted for.

SRAM rival 10 speed, except for front derailleur which is Shimano.
PowerTap C1 chainring power meter, which works fine, but will include Rival chainrings so you can swap out.
I will include the 10 speed Rival front derailleur.
    Ritchey bars
    Pro plt stem
    Upgraded Chris King headset
    Carbon seatpost
    Selle italia SLR saddle
    Silver Superstar Pave 28 wheelset
    Schwable 1 tyres

Includes Ritchey travel bag, which has a small cut in one side.

    £650
Ideally collected from Southampton, but can drop within reasonable distance or organised delivery (I’ll need a pretty big box)

Ideally I’d like to keep it, but not cycling as much any more and I need to reclaim garage space.

  • I can probably do frameset only as well if preferred.

  • Too small for me, but such a bargain.

  • great bike

  • So want, so don't need.

What's the tyre clearance on dis?

  • 25ish. You could maybe run a 28 but it's pretty narrow at the chainstays ime

  • My large, which looks like the same vintage clears 28s front and rear, its a little close on the rear, but nothing to worry about.

  • Tyre clearance is probably up to a normal 28 (not a wide rim continental 28) but you’re going to be limited by rim brake clearance anyway.

It currently has 25mm Schwalbe 1 on a 17mm internal wheelset and there is a fair amount of clearance left.

For those who are looking for frameset (including travel bag and breakaway bits) -£450

Just checked what I paid for mine, this is a brilliant deal.

It's worth saying this is just a really nice steel rim brake road bike, which happens to also be a travel bike, its my only road bike now.

  • Lovely!

Out of interest, what length are the cranks?

  • The cranks are 170mm.

  • Yeah, I've mainly used it as a standard steel bike, and very very rarely broken it down.
On a family holiday, the bike box, which fits nicely in the boot, was left at home and used roof bars to transport instead.

The paint does have a fair amount of chips, and its not immaculate condition, but the frame is rare and awesome. I have probably under priced it quite a bit.

  • Box is 75cm by 70cm by 22cm (25cm with the plastic cassette bulge on the side)

Going to miss it when it goes!
Fortunately I have another breakaway in the garage...
