  • I don't think I've missed the point and I haven't said we should opt into an ID system, I think there's plenty of valid reasons for not having compulsory ID but I also think the cart has bolted on some of the others.

  • Fair point, perhaps Tom was too much, but the right to be forgotten pretty much only stops you from being found on search engines, there are so many caveats in the legislation as to why a company would need to keep your info even if you've requested it's deletion that it's rarely actually happening.

    Plus most of the time you won't even know who has your data in the first place.
