I'd agree with this, albeit smashing the hour record and winning stages at both the Giro and the Vuelta being judged a shadow shows quite the level of expectation set upon Ganna.
I wish there were more TTT's generally!
Where do we think Bigham could end up, or back to Wattshop?

For sure, he's still performed well, but he's not been the stand out TT rider that he was a few seasons back.
I think Bigham will be in demand, he's clearly an intelligent and innovative person, but I do wonder if he'll always struggle to fit into organisations with a structure and process.

I'd argue it's more Ineos doesn't have the talent, rather than a training issue.
They certainly don't have a talent to rival Pogacar, Vingegaard and Evenepoel at the moment. That can be applied to most teams though. I think it's interesting that they seem to have switched to a talent development model, with 12 riders under the age of 25 on their roster, given how poor they've been at developing riders previously.

With Mrs Prevot leaving the team that leaves them soldering on as a masculine organisation .

Men's RR tips? Hard to see past mvdp but really hope someone unfancied take it, like Pithie or Hirschi.

I think it's going to be a hard race to control, with just four riders per team for the top-ranked nations, so I think it'll be a very open race similar to the Worlds in Leuven in 2021.

I was thinking aero/technical adviser to a national squad like Denmark previously, though as he is representing GB right now, that might be a conflict for future?
Maybe Jumbo? He’s worked with them before I think.

For most teams this would count as a successful season.
They're not most teams though.
It will be interesting to see which direction they head from here.

Why do national teams kits look absolutely abysmal?
-
• #51111
Spain kit’s quite nice isn’t it?

Ditto Greece

Serbia's wins my vote

I think the lack of sponsor logos has something to do with it; leaves them just looking empty.
Serbia is great (although a bit lacking in colour) and Colombia bangs.

Not that much of a flex, it was a troubled relationship at best and it could hardly be argued that BC used the talents of Cavendish to their best effect.

Pretty strong showing from Remco in the last 4 weeks!

That was a cracker, even the TV director seemed more interested in the racing than the scenery this time. I walked up the Rue Lepic many times when I was in Paris and it's a bastard even on foot, such a great parcours.
Enjoyed the clips of Pollitt nipping in to a Brasserie late in the race to use the toilet too. -

Is Faulkner doing too much work? Not watching closely but every time I flick to the race she's on the front

• #51119
Maybe not given that attack

Wow!

She's played a blinder. The top 2 favourites won't chase, Vas doesn't want to drag them both.
-
• #51122
Vas misses out by a tyre's width

Didn't look back, didn't lift her hands across the line, almost did a Forrest Gump and kept on riding!
-
• #51124
It's such an empty finishing area, she didn't even look that bothered at first.

Somewhat glad Vos got the silver... for all that Kopecky is a fantastic racer, she's definitely a fan of using others to do the work and often seems happy to miss a podium certainty if the win isn't on.
Citing Cavendish is a flex, given he was developed through the BC system right up until he turned professional.
