glad you got your bike sorted, told you lfgss would help out ! if you are up for a ride or meeting some folk there's the st pauls thing on sunday i mentioned ..... check the rides and races sub forum for details of this and other rides and meet some new people if that's your thing ! i think st pauls thing will be a leisurely ride round london with a few pub stops along the way.
and pay a visit to the bike polo tournament over the weekend if you are short of things to do, lots of good people and things to do with the events and beers in the evening. google london open bike polo for more details.
hope you enjoy your stay

hi, thank you for your tips! The bike polo was great new experience for me. Heard about it for a while but never saw in person, as it's not really popular in our region. Would you like to tell more details about St. Pauls ride thing? Wouldn't mind to possibly join/take a look of it.

Just to bump this, I hadn't realised the bike was needed ASAP and I am still in hospital as my wife had our first on Thursday and he's a bit yellow. If anyone can sort him out today please do shout as I feel awful for letting him down.
Cheers

If you're stuck, there are a few Brompton hire locations around the city. Just a big cabinet with Bromptons in that you unlock using a code. Last time I used one it was only £5 for a day. Lime bikes are also good fun. Neither is going to be great for "going for a ride" but will get you around town faster than a bus or train and you'll get to see London.
I’m brainrotted cyclist from Finland, here in London for the second time and again… without a bike… I was wondering if somebody would like to lend/rent a bike or call me for a group ride in London.
I’m experienced rider with over 3 years of cycling in traffic (Helsinki, Stockholm, Saint-Petersburg). Previously road cyclist (competitive enthusiast). Current owner of 4 bikes, but as a uni student, flying with bike is kinda financially problematic.
I’m not looking into bike for commuting around the town, only chill rides with storing ONLY in apartment (all the responsibility on me, I know how risky it sounds). All I wish is to try local road and possibly get to know local community. Possibly film some shots as well.
Absolutely anything works: 90s road bike, single speed, fixed gear, brakeless.
