    I prefer this type where you can control the release and have a foam holder

    But for my road bike saddle pack I just have the lighter but basic screw-in presta only one.

  • Oooh I have never considered CO2 cartridges before, but you might be on to something. I wonder how many it would take to do the job. Considerably less weight than carrying a track stand around all the time.

    I think they're great. I typically carry a small pump on a bicycle, but in your case (assuming you don't get loads of flats) I think they'll be the easiest. I think you can get them in different grame weights so you might be able to work out exactly what you need. But I'd probably just tape 3 together and keep them packed somewhere.
