I think the Volare is an infinitely cooler frame than the canyon, get it built while it’s still ‘summer’. It feels like there is a noticeable drop in price of rim brake parts since last year when I got my caad - do you have parts already?
Also - looks like it has a cane creek 110 headset already? Or are you looking for silver?

And catching up - how was going from carbon to alloy rims, notice much difference?

It’s an M Part. Totally fine and practical but would be nice to have a King or Hope.
Rim parts are nice and cheap! Lots of fancy wheels going for very little money -

If I could source one :(
Slam set not happening I'm not that flexibleI'm actually looking for a Tune Seatclamp 31.8mm if anyone has one. Used to be easy to get on Ebay but can't see them any more.

The bottom cup is the same as the CC 110 or 40 or something, and the top is only like 5mm lower. If you're gonna do 100km+ rides maybe no good. If you're gonna do summer blasts and laps, slam it, you'll be fine

Aha I see, yes why not have the sparkle I am just as guilty.
If silver I didn’t like the thick black seal on the dust cover of hope, but black looks good.
I'm trying my best not to build something 'classic' or too backward looking.
If it looks like a bike from 2014 I have failed.
